Our Equine Consultant Eddie Finds a New Home

After many years at Red Rock Riding Ranch in Val Verde, it was time for Eddie to move to a new home in Shadow Hills. It took a while to find the right spot, but Eddie was quick to find new friends in his new digs.

He is now stabled at Fortissimo Farm where Laura Goodenkauf specializes in working with off the track thoroughbreds in new careers in and out of the dressage arena.

Both Eddie and owner/writer/director Annika are thrilled to be with their new community.

A New Article About the Making of Our Film EDDIE'S TURN

Published this week by EquuStyle Magazine, our story shares details of how the script to our upcoming short film came to be, its roots in mental health and coming back to riding after unwilling years out of the saddle.

EDDIE'S TURN is poised to tell a story about Terry, a 52-year-old burned-out former ICU nurse who loses her job and is facing an uncertain future. Her life changes for the better when she meets a former racehorse named Eddie, and they both discover a second act in the world of equine therapy.

The film aims to create more awareness and highlight the therapeutic benefits of equine therapy and the potential for second careers for off-the-track thoroughbreds and for women facing change in a youth-oriented society. We can't wait to share the film with you once funds have been raised to do so. Meanwhile, discover more about what it takes to get there in Co-Producer Pam Rodi's article!
