Taking time and coming in from behind...

Making movies, long or short, has a lot in common with horse racing. Often, it's a long shot, but the excitement grows when that shot comes from behind.

Both Eddie, the inspiration for EDDIE'S TURN, and his buddy Logon to Win came from behind in some of their best races. They took their time to develop their strategy before taking the world by storm. It's the same with the film, EDDIE'S TURN.

Both realms require tenacity, patience, and perseverance, and quite a bit of money. Those of us involved with horses know it's worth it, as do those of us involved with movies.

My dream for EDDIE'S TURN is to create an incredible story about second acts and new opportunities, told through a lens of healing and horses. This lens is often underrepresented and undervalued because healing with horses is not well known as a wellness tool. The same applies to the power of second and third acts and opportunities in life that often go overlooked or unappreciated.

EDDIE'S TURN will contribute to the awareness of horses, healing, and second acts. Our story follows a journey to find meaning and purpose once the doors to one career close and the doors to another open. It takes time to pull it all together, just like Eddie and Logon to Win, but we have been building our strength and plan to start filming in November. For that, we need your help.
